screwdriver, a 13 spanner and a gas analyzer
was all that was needed by tuners to tune a

Non-franchised
workshops and in some cases authorized
tuners
are not able to cure or troubleshoot a fault
simply because the system used in the modern
motor vehicle has become so advanced.Making
adjustments to spark controls "timing" or
fuel injection settings have become
virtually impossible. With the aid of the
locally developed and manufactured "unichip"
piggyback computer, we are able to optimize
or fine-tune almost any electronically
controlled motor vehicle. The best

doesn't know what he/she is doing can never

enables us to optimize the air/fuel ratio
mixture and/or the timing of the vehicle
under load conditions, similar to that on
the road. The fully functional Piggyback
Computer is wired into the existing
Electronic Control Unit harness and allows
new information to be stored. Once the new
unit is in place, it can be programmed to
suit any specific need, for instance if a
change was made to the engine one could
calibrate the entire control unit to match
the engine.
A good example
of "tuning to suit specific needs" is the
ability to tune any vehicle to achieve the
best possible fuel consumption while driving
with light throttle and being able to obtain
maximum air performance under full throttle
conditions, where fuel consumption should
not be an issue. We are also able to control
idling, drive additional injectors, take
full control over timing functions and
remove road speed governors. This new
technology is far superior
to the conventional "Chip" which is
available all over simply because your own
vehicle is individually optimized.
The "Chip" is made in someone else's vehicle
somewhere else in another country. There are
many safety functions built into a standard
electronic control unit, which remain
completely unaltered. We only change the
areas in the rev range or at specific
throttle positions, which need to be
altered.

are able to optimize your vehicle 100%.

and more than 70% of all class championship
wins in Stannic production car racing has
been achieved by vehicles using this

What is the Unichip ?
Unichips are fully programmable
engine management systems which allow 408
fuel and ignition parameters to be altered
through a vehicle's standard Engine Control
unit (ECU) to deliver maximum power,
optimized drivability and improved fuel
economy.
Unlike other
performance chips, the Unichip is not
a replacement pre-programmed chip that is
made to fit all vehicles of the same sort.
Unichips work in harmony with the
standard ECU and is mapped on your engine
while on a chassis dynamometer to obtain the
safest maximum power, torque and optimum
